Integrated report
White Solder Group S/A present our first Integrated Report prepared in accordance with the Global Report Initiative (GRI) standard.
A Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) report is a document that a company or organization produces to disclose its practices, impacts and performance in terms of
sustainability. It provides a comprehensive view of how the organization is managing environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.
In practical terms, a report in accordance with the GRI standard goes through 4 main stages:
- Data collection on its activities;
- Analysis and evaluation of this data;
- Preparation of the Report in accordance with GRI standards to ensure that the information is presented in a clear, consistent and comparable manner with other companies;
- Disclosure of the report and its availability to the public;
By using this reporting format, we also aim to assist in the pursuit of compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), as there is a strong integration between the GRI and the CSRD for companies seeking to align their sustainability reporting with European regulatory requirements. The CSRD, which came into force in January 2024, requires companies to provide detailed information on the environmental, social and governance (ESG) impact of their operations, and the GRI, in turn, offers a comprehensive set of standards that can be used to structure these reports.
