The success of the White Solder Group began to be made possible in 2001, with the beginning of the activities of White Solder Metallurgy and Mining. Incorporated by TOR Participações in 2007, the company arose due to the need to guarantee the supply of Tin to the Welds and Alloys factories (White Solder RP and AM), within the quality and traceability standards that these companies needed.
In recent years, White Solder Metallurgy and Mining has received strong investments aimed at achieving the highest global standards tin production. Today, the tin produced by White Solder is part of a select global group that has the seal of quality from the London Metal Exchange (LME). Brands classified as LME Brand can be checked on the LME website itself.
Another important recognition that White Solder Metallurgy and Mining has is being certified as Conflict Free Tin Smelter by the Responsible Mineral Initiative – RMI, being one of the pioneer companies in South America to obtain such certification.
With the expansions made in 2019 the White Solder Metallurgy and Mining now has an installed capacity of 7200 tons of tin per tear, which makes it one of the largest tin smelters in the world. This volume, combined with the recognized quality of White Solder products, allows our material to be consumed worldwide, by the largest players in the market, in the various segments where tin is consumed.

Outro importante reconhecimento que a White Solder Metalurgia e Mineração possui é ser certificada como Conflict Free Tin Smelter pelo Responsible Mineral Initiative – RMI, sendo uma das empresas pioneiras na América do Sul a obter tal certificação.
Com a expansão feita em 2019 a White Solder Metalurgia e Mineração passa a ter uma capacidade instalada de 7200 toneladas de estanho por ano, o que faz dela uma das maiores fundições de estanho do mundo. Este volume, aliado a reconhecida qualidade dos produtos White Solder, permite que nosso material seja consumido no mundo todo, pelos maiores players do mercado, nos vários segmentos onde o estanho é consumido.
